Three Gooleys are back from Namibia. It was an extraordinary trip. A busman’s holiday for me and I’ve added a dozen of my favourite natural navigation signs to The Collection. Great to be back in the southern hemisphere after a hiatus.
I took the above photo a couple of weeks ago at 2.30pm local time in Namibia.

We are in the southern hemisphere in July. The sun rose north of east and passed through North in the middle of the day. We are looking just a little to the west of the sun…
We are looking North-West.
