A path through the woods with fog and green plants.

Interesting Feedback

My thanks to Dan for this kind and interesting feedback and permission to share it:

Hi Tristan,

Your books have helped me to really connect with nature. I’m reminded of a line by Alan Lightman who wrote “ consciously and unconsciously , we have gradually grown accustomed to experiencing the world through disembodied machines and instruments”( The Accidental Universe).

Your writings on natural navigation helps to curb this technological drawback and restores our humanity. I was out birding in by the Guadalupe River and I spotted this tree trunk that again was a compass ( the small candy on the edge is facing south ) with a slower growing and wider growth lines on the north side.

“Nature is a part of humanity, and without awareness of this divine mystery, man ceases to be man” Henry Beston ( The Outermost House)
