I recently went for a woodland walk with the BBC journalist Adam Shaw. We talked about the clues and signs we can look in trees for the Woodland Trust’s podcast, Woodland Walks.
We spent time in my local woods, Eartham Woods, and discuss the general patterns to look for. We also meet many particular trees, including yew, blackthorn, hawthorn, beech and birch.
