This picture was taken a few days ago, so still very much in spring.
Which direction are we looking?
Cryptic clue: why am I mostly bronze at this time of year?
Answer:
Cryptic part: bronze is mostly made of copper and it is the colour of the copper beech tree’s leaves that offers the best clue here.
We are looking southeast, darker copper colour on beech leaves to right indicating that is south. Tricky one.
