Just back from a seriously enjoyable weekend of natural navigation and wild camping in the Brecon Beacons.
More to follow, but in the meantime there is a lovely “wedge effect” in the image below. Which way are we facing? Spoiler alert, answer is below picture.
Southwest is to the left of the picture, so we are looking northwest.
The really beady-eyed will also have spotted some minor “flagging” in the tops of some of the most exposed conifers too.
