Yesterday was a day of walks. A family walk to a secret ruin in the morning and then my wife and I went for a nightime walk to the coast near Pagham Harbour. There we indulged in a little meditation before going for a meal in Chichester.
A lot of people suspect natural navigation of being a bit beardie-weirdie, or what my publisher likes to call ‘woo-woo’, but it is all rooted in science and natural observation. That does not stop it being holistic in approach, the two are not exclusive. Anyway, just to please those who like to suspect that I spend my time dancing in smoke and conducting initiation ceremonies, here is a picture of my wife, Sophie, meditating in front of the lights of Bognor Regis. There was no moonlight last night, but we didn’t need torches, the low cloud bounced orange light off the marshes and all over the place.
