On our recent camping trip to Dorset we were lucky with the weather. There was a moment when swimming in the sea at Lulworth Cove and looking back up from the cold water at the cliffs and clinging vegetation when it felt distinctly Greek.
There were a few yachts anchored in the cove, one with smoke snaking upwards from a BBQ on the pushpit. It was another occasion when the temptation was great to borrow from that euphoric Elbow song,
‘One day like this a year would see me right!’

The Gooleys are now back from a weekend’s camping in the isle of Purbeck, Dorset. This is a photo I took of some lobster pots stacked up on the beach at Lulworth Cove. Something more substantial and less wannabe arty to follow at some point. Perhaps.
